The Secular Franciscan way of life is Catholic and one that is centered in Christ. It is for men and women, married or single. We come together in fellowship to pray and learn about the life and teachings of Francis of Assisi.

As Secular Franciscans, we are called to embrace more deeply this spiritual journey to follow Jesus and His Gospel according to the spirit of St. Francis. We do so by obedience to a Rule of Life and by active participation in a community called a fraternity.

The rule and life of the Secular Franciscans is this: to observe the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ by following the example of Saint Francis of Assisi, who made Christ the inspiration and the center of his life with God and people. (Rule 4)
